Riding Across Vietnam (Shorts) - Day 2: Da Lat to Nha Trang

Day 2: Da Lat to Nha Trang (140 km) Apparently the guys are still pumped after doing 313 km yesterday, so they want to skip rest day and just move on to our next stop. My muscles disagrees with the idea, but not that I listens to them. Like yesterday, they departed earlier than me because they needed to charge, so I rode this leg journey mostly solo. The ride is only 140 km, much shorter than yesterday, but as Da Lat is 2000m above sea level (~6500 ft) so the route consist of twisty, winding mountain roads. Sprinkled in some spots that were damaged by landslides, and you have a ride that demands your focus, lest you want to end up on the side of the road. I don't think my footage does this ride justice - one have to come & ride on these mountains to truly understand how breathtaking it is. And then there's the temperature change, you can feel the air gradually change from brisk mountain air to warmer tropical wind as you descend in altitude, then, you smells salt - That's when you know you're near the ocean. The ride is only 3.5 hours, but add on charge time for the guys + long lunch break, we arrived to Nha Trang at 4:30 PM, all in all 6.5 hours on the road. Unfortunately I didn't notice the camera was off on our last stretch to Nha Trang, so there wasn't any footage.
