This is a "new and improved" remake of a video I made a couple of years ago. The song is "Castle of Dromore." It's an Irish lullaby about a mother comforting her child to sleep singing “hush-a-bye, loo, low, loo, low, lan.” No matter what troubles may lie beyond the castle walls, there is peace and safety in her lofty halls. There are four Castles of Dromore in Ireland located in the counties of Down, Kerry, Limerick and Tyrone. No one can say for certain which Castle Dromore the song is about. Lyrics were written by an Englishman, Harold Boulton, in the late 1800s. I’m playing it in B with the banjo in standard G tuning. Backup is generated by Band-In-A-Box.
