Salvation and freedom are not the same thing, and many Christians are living proof of that gap. You can be forgiven and still be carrying old wounds, old habits, and old lies that keep you stuck. Just like the Israelites who were rescued from Egypt but spent decades wanting to go back, many of us have open prison doors but choose to stay inside because the familiar feels safer than freedom. God's plan was never just to get you out of bondage. His plan was also to get the bondage out of you. That journey begins with honesty, grows in community, and takes root through new patterns built on the truth of who God says you are. Freedom is not just a one-time event. It is available right now. Chapters Chapter 1: The Framework: Salvation and Freedom Are Not the Same 0:00 - 6:39 Drawing from Exodus 6 and Ephesians, we explore a four-part framework of knowing God, finding freedom, discovering purpose, and making a difference. Chapter 2: Stuck in the Prison with the Door Wide Open 6:39 - 18:14 We can be saved and still live in bondage, returning to familiar sin and fear instead of walking into the freedom God has provided. Chapter 3: Strongholds: The Lies We Believe and the Enemy Who Tells Them 18:15 - 27:50 The enemy targets the weak points in our lives with lies, and until we identify and confront those lies, we cannot find lasting freedom. Chapter 4: Finding Freedom: Honesty, Community, and New Patterns 27:51 - 39:35 Freedom comes through three practical steps: being honest about our wounds and lies, pursuing community, and replacing old patterns with new ones rooted in Christ.
