DIRT to TURF on Our Abandoned Putting Green

Building a putting green from dirt to turf in Kansas City. This is part two. The base is shaped. Now it gets real. This episode is where the dirt finally becomes a green. We lay the stone, pack the base, and roll out the turf that turns a pile of graded dirt into a putting surface you'd actually want to play. Every layer matters. The stone has to be level, the base has to be tight, and the turf has to be seamed clean or you'll feel it in every roll. This is the satisfying part of the $300,000 build.
