ചീയപ്പാറ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം (CHEEYAPPARA WATERFALL) മൂന്നാറിലെ ROUTE LE മനോഹരമായ മറ്റൊരു വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടമാണ് ചീയപ്പാറ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം (Cheeyappara Waterfall). മൂന്നാർ നിന്നും 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരമുണ്ട് ചീയപ്പാറ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിലേക്ക്. പല പല തട്ടുകളിലായി ഒഴുകി താഴേക്ക് പതിക്കുന്ന വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടമാണ് ചീയപ്പാറ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം (Cheeyappara Waterfall). വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് ഒരു ചെറിയ നീർച്ചാൽ പോലെ ഒഴുകുന്ന ഈ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം മഴക്കാലം ആകുമ്പോൾ അതിശക്തമായ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം ആകുന്നു. വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിന് അടുത്തുള്ള കടകളിൽ സ്നാക്സും ചായയും ഒക്കെ ലഭ്യമാണ്. സുരക്ഷാ കാരണങ്ങളുള്ളതിനാൽ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങുവാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല. വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിന്റെ അകലെ നിന്ന് സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് കാഴ്ചകൾ ആസ്വദിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കും. Ponmudi Dam ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ കൊന്നത്തടി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ കൊന്നത്തടി ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് പന്നിയാർ പുഴയ്ക്ക് കുറുകേ നിർമ്മിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ഈ ഗ്രാവിറ്റി മേസണറി അണക്കെട്ട്. പെരിയാർ നദിയുടെ ഒരു പോഷക നദിയാണ് പന്നിയാർ. സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ മനം കവർന്ന് ADIMALI രാജാക്കാട് പൊന്മുടി മലയോരക്കാഴ്ചകൾ തേടിയെത്തുന്ന വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളുടെ പ്രധാന ഇടത്താവളമായി പൊന്മുടി മാറി. ഡാമിന് മുകളിലൂടെയെത്തുന്ന കുളിർകാറ്റും സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് പുതിയ അനുഭവം സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നു. The Ponmudi Dam, a concrete gravity dam, is located across the Panniyar River in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. It was constructed in 1963 as part of the Panniyar Hydro Electric Project. The dam is 288.80 meters long and has a height of 59 meters. It has an installed capacity of 30 MW with firm power of 17 MW, generating 158 GWh annually. The reservoir's gross storage capacity is 51,540,000 cubic meters, and the live storage is 47,400,000 cubic meters. The dam is located in Seismic Zone-III and is part of the basin of the West flowing rivers of the Tadri to Kanyakumari. The nearest city is Udumbanchola, and Mattupetty to Ponmudi dam is a distance of 39 kilometers. The dam is managed by the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and is part of the Panniyar Hydro Electric Project.
