Shunting with Peckett 0-4-0T 'Marcia'

We know many of you would love to know how well the newly announced OO Gauge Peckett No. 1631 'Marcia' runs at slow speeds. With such a small wheelbase, this is a fair question. Fitted with a MoPower stay-alive, smooth and slow running is more than possible. It's easy to say that, but we thought it would make more sense to show you instead. We’ve created this short sequence recreating Marcia’s time working for Constable, Hart & Co. This also gave us the opportunity to play with these lovely little samples and put them through their paces. As you can see, they are perfect for shunting, shuttles, and shuffling around yards at a leisurely speed. These samples are currently powered by an analogue (DC) controller, but we will return with a full ‘How Does it Sound?’ video that also demonstrates the MoPower stay-alive further down the line.
