Some of them were told they might never sing again. Some performed
through cancer treatments, strokes, Alzheimer's disease, and nerve
disorders that were slowly taking away the very ability that had
defined their entire lives. This is the verified, documented story
of 15 country music legends who faced serious illness and refused
to stop singing.
From Clay Walker managing multiple sclerosis on the road, to Glenn
Campbell completing a 150-concert Goodbye Tour while Alzheimer's
was visibly progressing, to Randy Travis singing one verse of
Amazing Grace at the CMA Awards after a stroke that nearly killed
him — these are the real stories behind the music you grew up
loving.
