This video demonstrates the visual inspection and functional checks used to help confirm that the Dräger AirBoss SCBA is ready for service and in good operating condition. The inspection covers: • Cylinder strap, cam lock, cradle and QuickConnect handwheel • Harness, buckles, straps and dual-axis waist pad • Hoses, cables and optional UEBSS components • Back-frame height adjustment and buddy lights • First-stage reducer, RIC/UAC and whistle • AirBoss Sentinel, batteries and pressure module • SCBA cylinder, valve and QuickConnect adapter • Lung-demand regulator, bypass and connections • FPS 7000 facepiece, harness, valves and head-up display The video also demonstrates functional checks for: • AirBoss Sentinel startup and self-check • High-pressure leak testing • Regulator bypass operation • Automatic and manual PASS alarm activation • End-of-service-time indicator and low-pressure alarm • Final cylinder-pressure verification This video supplements the official Dräger instructions for use and does not replace them. Always follow all applicable instructions, departmental procedures and training requirements. Remove the unit from service if an inspection or functional check identifies damage, an obstruction, a failed test or another unsafe condition.
