Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday (May 24, 1994 prototype) - Level 1 Gameplay + Secret Bonus [Part 1]

Last month, some prototypes of this game were found and released by Games That Weren't, with the help of some people. More info detailed here: https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2025/07/po... One of the prototypes shown in this video is the May 24, 1994 build, which requires a soft reset in order to boot up the game. There are several differences compared to other builds as well as the known prototype that was dumped and released long time ago (notably for having a different soundtrack than the final version): 1 - This build uses the beta soundtrack, but some of music tracks are earlier than the known proto. 2 - The intro is much more detailed, longer, plays the map theme in addition of including some tracks which went unused in the known proto, and were deleted later. The known later versions only includes the bed scene but in this build no text is present and lacks the "nightmare scene". 3 - Porky's sprites are completely different in every way, as well as having "themed outfits" for each level - except in level 1. 4 - This game originally had "bonus items" on every level that collecting up to 3 allows Porky to access the Porkathlon minigames in a (coincidentally) similar fashion to the animal tokens in Donkey Kong Country, and surprisingly each level has their own versions of these bonus items. Too bad they deleted it later in the development considering the finished game can be completed within an hour, having only six levels and are pretty easy (except that underwater section of the third level). I reccommend playing this game using savestates because sometimes this build can be unstable: it crashes when the game attempts loading some rooms for unknown reasons, so I had to redo the first level sometimes even with savestates in order to play the entire level, which looks pretty finished despite having some differences at certain points: 1 - The fruit bowl weapon is present at the top of the start of the second room instead of finding it after the first checkpoint flag. 2 - As I mentioned above, there are bonus items that can be found in order to access a minigame, and two units are located in secret rooms. The first minigame is called "Running", or "The 100M Dash". Porky and Daffy Duck in "A strange Olympics-type sports game that's by no means serious". (at the start, the game shows instructions to control the player: pressing A and B buttons, but actually the R button also works for some reason, allowing you to run properly) 3 - At the top of the start of fourth room, there's a secret trigger that brings Porky to a secret minigame called "Porky's Revenge" that resembles the classic "Whack-A-Mole" game. BTW, every minigame shows instructions about how to play them during a few seconds. It seems the developers wanted to add even more variety, because it's also present in the other levels (at least as I tested for now - levels 2 [via cheating], 3 and 5). (The hidden minigame was supposed to show text, but failed for some reason). 4 - The background of the boss room is positioned different like the fourth room, unlike later versions. In addition, the boss has only 2 HP instead of 5. Well guys, the work is only starting, and I still have more stuff to cover, such as levels 2, 3, 5, the minigames... wait! Why I didn't mention levels 4 and 6? There's a big problem: they don't open and crashes the game, except the intro of level 4 and the boss battle.
