WNBA Coaches REACT To Caitlin Clark's 333 Assists You Completely MISSED!

891 points and 333 assists in 40 games. The scoring got clipped and posted everywhere. The 333 is the half of the season that got buried — and it’s the half the coaches couldn’t stop talking about. Dawn Staley gave the clearest version of why: the most dangerous thing about Caitlin Clark is her passing, because you can live with her getting 30 points, but you can’t live with her getting 12 assists. Thirty points is thirty points from one player. Twelve assists is easy baskets for four other people, all night. Curt Miller’s scouting report called her an elite passer who sees things before they develop, and then connected the halves — the logo range forces defenders to run at her early, and the second they do, the lane opens. Cheryl Reeve, coaching the league’s No. 1 seed, admitted that if her team isn’t mindful getting back on defense, Indiana gets easy stuff. Noelle Quinn said her prep became about finding solutions to the Fever pick and roll. Becky Hammon pushed back on the idea that the league resents her: our league loves her. And Stephanie White, who sees it daily, said the gift is that Clark hits teammates on time, on target. ⚠️ The honest part, and the video leads with it: 333 is not a record. Alyssa Thomas owns the single-season assist record at 358, and Clark’s own rookie year at 337 is higher too — 333 ranks fourth all-time. What makes it matter is what it’s attached to. Nobody in WNBA history had ever paired 800+ points with 300+ assists in the same season. Thomas has the passing crown. Clark did the thing neither she nor anyone else has done, which is carry both loads at once, in a season coming back from injury. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 🏀 WATCH NEXT WNBA Legends REACT To The Caitlin Clark Record No Player Has Ever Matched →    • WNBA Legends React To The Caitlin Clark Re...   WNBA Coaches EXPLAIN Why Caitlin Clark Is So Hard To Defend →    • WNBA Coaches EXPLAIN Why Caitlin Clark Is ...   🔔 SUBSCRIBE →    / @thetrophylifeyt   💬 Staley’s question is the one worth arguing about: if you’re the coach, would you rather give Caitlin Clark 30 points or 12 assists?
