In this walking tour, we explore the local Saturday Market of Lasht-e Nesha, a traditional weekly market held every Saturday and Tuesday along a street beside the river. The market is filled with local vendors selling fresh produce, food, and everyday goods. Like many traditional markets across northern Iran, colorful fabric canopies are stretched above the stalls, creating a lively and colorful atmosphere while protecting vendors and shoppers from the strong summer sun. One of the most interesting parts of the market is the local women who sit and sell their goods. During the hot summer days, some of them use umbrellas above their stalls to protect themselves from the sunlight.
