How Mr O Found His Voice in Sports Commentary

He always imagined himself on the football pitch. But somewhere along the way, Olaotse “Mr O” Kepadisa discovered another way to be part of the game — behind the microphone. In this conversation, Mr O takes us through his journey into sports commentary, the people who believed in him, the moments that made him realise he had something special, and what it really takes to prepare for a game. From researching players and countries to finding ways to paint a picture for someone listening on the radio, he explains why good commentary is about much more than simply describing what is happening on the pitch. We also talk about finding your own voice, the pressure of live broadcasting, and the moment he finally discovered the signature style that would become part of his identity as a commentator. #TshepangHermanoNetwork #TshepangHermanoPodcast #OlaotseKepadisa #MrO #SportsCommentary #FootballCommentary #MotswedingFM #SABC #SouthAfricanFootball #Football #SportsBroadcasting #Setswana #Radio #SouthAfrica #TshepangHermano
