Ninth Life Music | Occult, Fairy, and Fae-Themed Rock
This channel explores the darker, mystical realms of the occult, fairy, and fae mythology through music.
Far from the marble and gold of the high fae courts, there wanders a solitary soul carrying a staggering burden upon his back. The Keeper of the Lost is a gentle, nomadic hoarder fae who hauls his entire sanctuary—built with walls of tin and a roof of reed—through the forest day and night. Where the mortal world and other magical creatures see useless junk, he sees invaluable treasure.
Carefully collecting discarded glass beads, rusted iron keys, and broken pocket watches, the Keeper meticulously catalogs the forgotten memories of the woods. Trudging along the track with his leaning timber frame, he happily ignores the insults of passing redcaps. For the Keeper of the Lost, a stone foundation is useless when you can unbuckle your leather straps at dusk and sleep inside a walking palace of memories at the close of the day.

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Glass.
A silver thimble buried in the morning dew.
A stray brass button and a glass bead blue.
I wrap them up in linen and I tie them with a thread,
Then slide them beneath the canvas roof above my head.
Step.
Clink.
I stoop beside the river brink.
Someone discarded this rusted iron key—
They saw a piece of trash, but it’s a treasure to me.
[Verse 2]
Look.
A pocket watch that lost its golden hands,
Dropped by a mortal passing through these woods from foreign lands.
Heavy.
I know.
Strap it on below.
The timber frame is leaning as I trudge along the track,
Carrying a sanctuary balanced on my back.
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Pause.
Breathe.
Unbuckle the leather sheath.
[Chorus]
I am the Keeper of the Lost!
I haul my wooden sanctuary through the day and night!
Walls of tin.
Roof of reed.
Everything a solitary soul could ever need!
Let the courts possess their marble and their gold,
I’ve got every little memory the quiet forest holds!
[Verse 3]
Feather.
A pewter tea-cup polished till it starts to shine.
A hollowed wooden compass pointing straight into the pine.
Creak.
Strain.
I do not mind the physical strain.
A redcap called my walking cottage useless junk today,
So I packed his foolish insult up and went upon my way.
[Verse 4]
Dusk.
Stop.
Unclasp the heavy top.
I set my brass lantern on a flat granite stone,
And arrange all the memories I’ve gathered here alone.
A ribbon.
A coin.
Where the dirt and mosses join.
I need no stone foundation buried deep within the clay,
When I can sleep inside a palace at the close of day.
[Bridge]
Pewter.
Quartz.
Lace.
Thread.
The world sees debris.
I see a home instead.
[Verse 5]
Sticks.
Sway.
The road is clear and broad today.
I move like a willow when the autumn wind is high,
A single walking shelter underneath the open sky.
[Chorus]
I am the Keeper of the Lost!
I haul my wooden sanctuary through the day and night!
Walls of tin.
Roof of reed.
Everything a solitary soul could ever need!
Let the courts possess their marble and their gold,
I’ve got every little memory the quiet forest holds!
[Outro]
Step.
Clink.
Step.
Chime.
Home...
Just in time.
