UTHANAM II SRI SRI SAUDKUCHI SATRA JORHAT II NANDOTSAV II

Uthanam is a typical form of Nam-Kirtan practised in SriI Sri Saudkuchi Satra, Jorhat ever since it's inception in about 1682 on the occasion of Nandotsav. It is so called because the performance is done in standing position with elaborate footwork as in Gayan-Bayan.
