We Finally Went to Bali… Was It Worth the Hype?

We’d seen Bali in pictures for years. The rice terraces, the temples, the beaches… and of course, that famous view at Kelingking. But what is Bali actually like when you’re there? So we spent four days finding out! From the busy streets of Ubud on our first day, to quiet mornings by the water lilies, wandering through the rice terraces, tasting local food, and waking up at 5 AM for Nusa Penida. Some places surprised us. Some completely lived up to the hype. And some of our favorite moments had nothing to do with the places on our itinerary.
