OIL PAINTING on location - Carrick Roads Cornwall

Today I am oil painting on location overlooking Carrick Roads in Cornwall. The light was very changeable (it also rained whilst I was there!). This plein air landscape painting will form part of my exhibition which opens summer 2022 at The Royal Cornwall Museum. All of the work is based on the Carrick Roads (in Cornish - Dowr Carrek) which is the estuary of the Fal River. I am plein air painting my way around the area, taking in the beautiful views and thoroughly exploring this wonderful part of Cornwall.
