Sombr - You Were My Safe Place (Official Lyrics Video)

You Were My Safe Place 💔 | Until You Became the Reason I Hurt It's a different kind of heartbreak when the person you ran to for comfort becomes the person you need comfort from. “You Were My Safe Place” is an emotional indie-pop song about losing the one person who made the world feel a little less frightening. It's about late-night conversations, familiar arms, quiet moments that felt like home, and the painful realization that the person who once made everything better is no longer yours to turn to. With vulnerable vocals, atmospheric guitars, and soaring, emotionally charged melodies, this song captures the loneliness of missing someone who wasn't just a lover — they were your comfort, your peace, and the person you trusted most. How do you learn to feel safe again when the person who made you feel that way is the one who broke your heart? 🖤 ABOUT THE SONG 💔 Lost Security: Missing the person who once made everything feel okay. 🥀 Broken Trust: When the person you depended on becomes the source of your pain. 🌙 Loneliness: Wanting to call someone who is no longer there for you. 🫂 Unforgettable Love: Remembering what it felt like to have someone who understood you without explanation. 🎸 The Sound: Emotional indie pop, atmospheric guitars, intimate verses, and powerful, heartfelt choruses. 🎧 LISTEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH This song is for anyone who has ever lost the person they called home — someone whose presence made even the hardest days feel bearable.
