Flew my Stratosurfer 1.75 miles out on this Beautiful Morning

I'm still just beginning but am gaining experience with my Crossfire tx/rx and my Avatar GT2. The other morning I couldn't get more than 7 satellites and often dropped to 4 (losing my Return to Home functionality--oof). I thought it was my GPS or its placement. Today I locked onto 11 satellites and only dropped down to 10 during the flight. Not sure what makes the difference. The other day had many more clouds in the sky. It seems true that they can stop gps signal? I flew less throttle today, for better battery use (2200mAh 3s).
