Naya Burn VS Affinity. Modern.

Early-birdy test preps with gaunlets for GP Copenhagen. It's good to know your enemies, so to speak. The Affinity build we used was initially derived from this: http://www.channelfireball.com/articl... The build eventually came down to this: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-05-... So that's what we used here. Paths of gradual tuning: Master-Champion split 2:2 instead of 3:1 because of lots of Abzan expected. Sideboard tweaked for local metagame to include anti-token IitR and anti-combo/anti-Kataki Gut Shot. One more Champion for Master (was great against colored removal) Welding Jar for Memnite (helps in keeping your big threat while maintaining the ease of reaching metalcraft on t1). G Blast for Overseer (reach & removal instead of a 4th overseer). Changes in SB: -1 Champion -1 Illness in the Ranks -1 Canonist +1 Master +1 Wear // Tear +1 Spell Pierce Illness in the Ranks is great against tokens (including Pestermite and Exarch tokens in Twin decks). The logic was that 2x Spellskite + Wear//Tear is good enough against Twin. BTW, Wear//Tear is my only out against a resolved Stony Silence. Only change from previous in SB, returning Illness in the Ranks to service, replacing one Thoughtseize. Then, put back second Seize the Champion in SB. Thoughts for changes: Another Master of Etherium would be good in SB to escape Forked Bolt, Golgari Charm etc. My choice of 3x Blast in ver. 2 in the main deck may also have been misguided, but instead the 4th Overseer and/or second MD MoE might create more pressure and more synergies. Spellskite could even become a main deck card (takes burn, removal, bounce, Ravager’s counters, Twin…). Burn list was pretty much this: http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=9651&d=255...
