Barcelona in 48 hours! Join me as I complete 13 stops on this first-time Barcelona itinerary—from the Sagrada Família and Montjuïc Castle to local food and a live flamenco show.
During our first day, we explored the peaceful Jardins de Vil·la Amèlia and the historic Monastery of Pedralbes before enjoying meals at Bar del Pla and Los Caracoles.
The next day began with cinnamon rolls from Demasié, followed by a visit to the Sagrada Família. We only had time to experience the exterior, but its massive towers, detailed carvings and nature-inspired architecture were still incredible to see.
Having a driver gave us the flexibility to add unexpected stops at the Jardins de Miramar and the National Art Museum of Catalonia. We also rode the Montjuïc Cable Car, explored Montjuïc Castle and enjoyed panoramic views of Barcelona, its port and the Mediterranean.
After a late lunch at Pulpería Can Lampazas, we ended our Barcelona adventure with an intimate flamenco performance and guitar-museum tour at Casa Sors.
What you didn't see on the film was even after a late dinner at Pulpería Can Lampazas, we still went back to the hotel for coffee and cocktails. We just didn't want our journey to end.
If you’re looking for things to do in Barcelona or planning a Barcelona two-day itinerary, this travel vlog shares my honest first impressions, practical ticket advice and what was worth fitting into only 48 hours.
