I've been wanting to make this video for quite some time. It compares three popular studio microphone types: ribbon microphone, dynamic microphone, and condenser microphone. The 3 mics I used in this video are: MXL R144, Shure SM57, and Audio Technica AT2020. All are around $99 new and all sound great. I sample each one with acoustic guitar, guitar amplifier, and vocals.
