R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1) Playthrough - Gran Prix Mode - DRT Team - Lizard Brand - Perfect Run

Playthrough of Ridge Racer Type 4 for the PS1 with the DRT Team and the Lizard Brand. A perfect run is getting 1st place on all races without using retries( which makes you get the best car for each heat). The DRT team initially will have cars in general with low speed and even worse handling than the RTS team but if you get the best cars for each heat, the Stage 3 and 4 cars will be the fastest cars across the teams with handling slightly better then the RTS team. The Lizard car Brand has lower top speed than the Assoluto brand but better handling. With drift cars, downshifting after the car finishes the drift will grant you a boost of speed( this also can be done after the car lands from a jump or even after you crash to avoid the car stalling). To get a boost start, rev up until your inbetween the 6,000 to 7000 rpm mark then start to upshift until the very last gear of the car, then just before GO! is signaled, you upshift to the last gear and you will launch the car at pretty much top speed from the get go.
