The Chargers did exactly that. On September 11, 2026, Corner Canyon welcomed undefeated Eastwood High School from El Paso, Texas, to Draper and delivered a dominant 52-7 victory, improving to 4-1 on the season and extending its home winning streak to 11 games. Diesel Dart opened the scoring with a 30-yard touchdown reception from Jaxon Pehrson in the first quarter. The Chargers continued to pull away from there, with Pehrson finishing 11-of-20 for 248 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Dart led the receiving attack with 5 catches for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 73-yard score in the third quarter. On the ground, Jett Carruth powered the offense with 128 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on just 14 carries. The Corner Canyon defense held Eastwood to only seven points, keeping the Troopers off the scoreboard after the first quarter. Matt Watts put the finishing touches on the win with an 18-yard pick-six in the fourth quarter.
