How to Find Your Identity in Christ and Break Free From Your Past | Created for More

Sis, where you started does not have to determine where you finish. You were created for more. In this personal testimony, Christina Brown shares a life-defining moment from her childhood when she realized her future could look different from what she saw around her. As she witnessed her mother navigate brokenness, trials, and heartbreak, Christina began recognizing that she had a choice about the path she would take. This message is for the woman who has ever wondered whether her past, her family’s struggles, or her current circumstances have already decided her future. You can acknowledge where you came from, have compassion for your mother’s story, and still choose a different direction. Your pain is part of your story, but it does not define your identity. Your identity is rooted in Christ—and discovering who you are in Him changes how you see yourself and what is possible for your life. You were created for more than repeating unhealthy patterns, living under old labels, or allowing yesterday’s heartbreak to make tomorrow’s decisions. What is one pattern you’re choosing to leave behind? Share only what you feel comfortable sharing, or simply comment, “I’m created for more.” Christina Brown Global brings biblical teaching, prayer, testimony, and encouragement to the girl, the woman, and the wife. Through She 4Real, Christina helps women pursue healing, grow in confidence, and discover their identity in Christ. Ready to take your next step?
