Dropkick Murphys LIVE in Graz, Austria – August 14, 2026! 🇮🇪🔥 What an amazing concert! The guys brought incredible energy, enthusiasm and pure life to the stage. It was a fantastic show, and I'm already looking forward to the next Dropkick Murphys concert I can attend! However, I have to say a few words about the venue and the sound. The sound was, quite frankly, terrible. Whoever was responsible for it seriously needs to reconsider their profession. At times, it sounded like an amateur punk band playing their very first show in the basement of a small pub. Unfortunately, this wasn't only a problem during the Dropkick Murphys set. Pretty much every band seemed to suffer from the same issue. The guitars were basically one big wall of noise, the drums were reduced to a dull thumping sound, and sometimes you could barely hear the vocals at all. For a concert of this level, this really took away from the experience and the value of the show. Another issue was the lack of seating. Doors opened at 5:00 PM and the event finished around 11:00 PM, yet there were practically no benches or other places to sit anywhere around the venue. For quite a few people, standing for six hours was understandably very uncomfortable. So, to put it mildly, I don't think the venue met many of the expectations for an event of this size. Thankfully, the staff working at the venue were very friendly and helpful, and a special thank you goes to the paramedics for their quick assistance. From what I could see, they certainly had their work cut out for them.
