Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Walkthrough Part 19 - Shadow Temple & Bongo Bongo

The darkness beneath Kakariko Village leads us into the Shadow Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D! This dungeon is filled with illusions, invisible walls and hidden dangers, making the Lens of Truth essential for finding our way through. Almost nothing in the Shadow Temple can be trusted! Early in our exploration, we find the Dungeon Map and encounter another terrifying Dead Hand. Defeating it rewards Link with the Hover Boots, allowing him to briefly walk through the air and cross gaps that would otherwise be impossible to reach. From there, the Shadow Temple throws everything it can at us: ReDeads, Gibdos, giant spinning scythes, falling spike traps, invisible platforms and hidden passages. We eventually find the Compass and continue deeper into the darkness. One of the strangest sections has Link boarding a massive ghostly ship. Playing Zelda's Lullaby sends the ship sailing through the temple before we eventually reach a maze filled with invisible walls. With the Lens of Truth guiding us, we navigate the maze and obtain the Boss Key. At the end of the Shadow Temple waits Bongo Bongo, the Phantom Shadow Beast! The battle takes place on a giant drum, with Bongo Bongo's enormous hands constantly bouncing Link into the air. We use the Fairy Bow to stun both hands, activate the Lens of Truth to reveal the monster's hidden eye, and strike when it charges toward us. With Bongo Bongo defeated, Link reunites with Impa, who has awakened as the Sage of Shadow. She rewards Link with the Shadow Medallion, bringing us another step closer to defeating Ganondorf!
