A Week in Dubai 🇦🇪 | Business, Shopping, Fine Dining & Nights Out

I spent 6 nights and 7 days in Dubai, primarily for business and other appointments. But as we all know, there is more to a trip than the reason you travelled in the first place! During my stay, I had the opportunity to attend AIM Congress 2026, explore some of Dubai’s shopping destinations, enjoy some interesting meals and experience the city’s nightlife. From my stay at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel to a shopping trip to Dubai Mall, a few Swarovski purchases and a new iPhone, there were plenty of moments worth capturing. I also got to enjoy some fine dining and spend a couple of nights out, giving me the chance to experience Dubai beyond the boardroom and business meetings. What I find fascinating about Dubai is the contrast. It’s a destination for business and investment, but it’s also a place where shopping, food, entertainment and lifestyle come together. Even with a busy schedule, I managed to make room for some experiences that made the trip special.
