Namaste 🙏 Japan Labor Shortage & Job Scam: Salary, Jobs and Reality for Foreign Workers Only Serious: job WhatsApp: https://wa.me/message/GSIXRVCMHISIJ1 💈INSTAGRAM :   / desi_truckdriver   Is Japan really facing a labor shortage, and are foreign workers being offered good salaries—or are some people being trapped by misleading job offers and recruitment scams? In this video, we take a realistic look at working in Japan, basic salaries, labor shortages, and the risks foreign job seekers should understand before accepting an offer. Japan continues to experience strong demand for workers in areas such as construction, manufacturing, food service, caregiving, logistics, agriculture, and hospitality. Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare reported about 2.04 million foreign workers in establishments covered by its 2025 survey. Among general foreign workers, the average monthly regularly paid cash earnings were about ¥292,400. The figure was about ¥254,100 for Specified Skilled Workers (特定技能) and ¥213,500 for Technical Intern Training workers. These are averages, not guaranteed starting salaries. Japan’s minimum wage also varies by prefecture. For fiscal 2026, the nationally weighted average of the newly recommended regional minimum wages is ¥1,177 per hour, with the new rates scheduled to take effect between October and December 2026 depending on the prefecture. But labor shortage does not mean every job is a good job. Workers should carefully check the written employment conditions, basic salary, overtime rate, working hours, accommodation fees, transportation costs, deductions, visa status, and recruitment fees before signing a contract. Be especially careful with job advertisements promising very high salaries, easy work, guaranteed visas, or instant employment while asking for large upfront payments. Foreign workers also have access to multilingual labor-condition information and consultation services from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
