Puri to Konark Sun Temple by Electric bus, bus journey in Odisha, museum at Sun temple architecture

Today, we are travelling from Puri to Konark, where our plan is to visit the famous Konark Sun Temple. We woke up early in the morning and reached the railway station. From there, we took a bus to the bus stand, where government buses operate towards Konark. It is a journey of around 35 kilometres, and the bus fare is ₹50. This is an express bus, so it does not stop at many places along the way. There are only two or three stops in between, after which the bus goes directly to the area near the Konark Temple. Earlier, there used to be more government buses operating on this route, but now the number of electric buses has reduced. We were told that some charging and electricity-related issues are the reason for the reduced service. Currently, around three buses operate towards Konark during the day, with a similar number of buses running back. We reached the bus stand at around 8 AM, and our bus was scheduled for 8:30. We waited for a while and then boarded the bus. Fortunately, we also managed to get seats. I sat at the back, while my friend got a seat towards the front. We had booked our tickets online, which meant that instead of paying ₹50, we got the ticket for ₹45. So, we saved ₹5 directly. After getting off the bus, our next stop was the Konark Sun Temple.
