Warwick 27, Minisink 7 | Win and In: Greg Sirico & the 24-Year Playoff Streak

Friday Night Films follows Warwick Wildcats head coach and athletic director Greg Sirico through the weekend of what could be his final game. Warwick and Minisink Valley came in with just four wins between them, but the stakes couldn’t have been higher: the winner goes to the playoffs. For Warwick, a 23-year playoff streak was on the line. Could they make it 24? We had exclusive, all-access coverage of the entire weekend: the Thursday night bonfire, the Warwick locker room before the game and at halftime, mic’d up on the sideline, and everything behind the scenes. And then Warwick delivered. An emotional 27-7 win over Minisink Valley, a playoff berth, and streak No. 24. Plus postgame interviews with Coach Greg Sirico, star wide receiver Sean Perez, quarterback Danny Lupkovich, and running back Matt Finnerty. This is the most ambitious episode of Friday Night Films yet, made by two Warwick graduates and brothers, Damon and Jason Amendolara. It’s a film about one of the most memorable Warwick football nights in years. 🎬 CHAPTERS 0:00 – One Last Ride? 0:05 – The Thursday Night Bonfire 4:02 – Pregame: Inside the Locker Room 4:50 – Kickoff 8:10 – Halftime: Inside the Locker Room 11:24 – The Stop 11:49 – Make It 24 14:05 – Postgame: Coach Greg Sirico 15:50 – Postgame: QB Danny Lupkovich 18:30 – Postgame: WR Sean Perez 19:50 – Postgame: RB Matt Finnerty 🎙️ Host & Executive Producer: Damon Amendolara, veteran sportscaster and Warwick Valley graduate 🎥 Lead Camera: Jason Amendolara, Warwick Valley graduate 🌐 Every episode and all our Section 9 coverage: thefridaynightfilms.com 📩 Sponsorships, partnerships, and inquiries: damon@playDAnetwork.com 🔔 Subscribe for more Friday Night Films through the Section 9 playoffs.
