I always felt like Raven is not the character everyone thinks she is. Sure, she does kinda show the "I'm awesome" attitude quite often, but underneath all that there's her sadness, brokenness, her regrets, all the things she couldn't fix and all the pressure that's constantly being put on her. She seems to be a person who truly believes in herself but that's not always true. Everyone kinda thinks she can do anything just like that and they kinda all depend on her, but she can't. She doesn't always have the solution. She cannot solve any problem in 53 minutes. She's not Da Vinci, Einstein, Mozart. She's Raven Reyes, a very broken girl who's been through a lot. She's lost all the people who ever understood her by the age of 20. And she still manages to smile. She's smart, she says she's awesome. That's true. But that doesn't mean she believes it.
