Low Headroom Bottom Pile Driving - Underpinning

Small Underpinning job on a residential house in Auckland. Due to tight access, we are using our little red rig, and 3.5t excavator to bottom drive up to 8m of heavy walled pipe using a 300kg hammer down the centre. as you can see we need to weld 1m sections due to the low headroom created by the eave of the house. Once this is completeted, Corbels are placed onto the pipe, and fit under the footing of the house, then jacking can commence. Apologies for making Glenn the star of the show!
