Paddy's rambles through the Pairc

'Pairc' is Irish for a 'field'. Donegal box player Dermot Byrne says that this air was composed by Johnny Doherty. He was a traveling fiddle player from Ardara in County Donegal. Apparently Doherty had learned that tune from the fairies. They had send him rambling round a field all night long singing this tune. The copyrights would be a bit complicated in this case, I guess.
