British Boots, SV

Please note a slight error in the video, Boots, SV were first issue in 1941, not 1940. The British SV Boots was a rubber-soled version of the standard Ammo Boot initially produced for the Commandos, a name the heavily cleated Itshide sole would come to be known by. They were a distinctive feature of Commando uniform through to the 1960s and the introduction of the DMS Boot.
