Discover Barcelona through the ME Hotel: a bold, off-balance icon with a 24th-floor restaurant, a zen YHI spa, and rooftop views, plus Gaudi's dragon and the Boqueria Market. In World Class we explore the Catalonian capital on the Mediterranean, where al fresco culture, bustling markets, and modernist architecture meet the Gothic past. Our base is ME Hotel Barcelona, perched above the city with a striking silhouette. Inside, staff champion a guest-first, know-your-name ethos. The property features 258 rooms, meeting spaces, a rooftop pool, a club, and two restaurants, including a gastronomic venue on the 24th floor run by two brothers and rooted in Mediterranean and Catalan products. We walk from the hotel toward the Gothic Quarter and along La Rambla, then dive into the famed Boqueria market, officially St. Joseph Market, brimming with fruit, seafood, Spanish ham, cheeses, and fresh produce. Back at the hotel, the YHI spa offers a calm sanctuary, while an experience manager curates art and photography books throughout the lobby to enjoy over a drink. Gaudi's Barcelona takes center stage. At Casa Batio, the dragon-like facade suggests scales, skull-shaped balconies, and a cross evoking St. George. Officially one of Barcelona's seven wonders and a UNESCO protected site, its interiors feel organic and alive. We also look up to the Sagrada Familia, begun in 1882 and continued by Gaudi in 1883, with towers for the apostles and evangelists. Though cranes still crown the basilica, completion is expected around 2026, echoing Gaudi's line: My client is in no hurry. To round out the day, we unwind on the expansive deck with city views, consider a glide along the seafront, wander Parc Guella, and cap the night at the magical fountains for a show of water, color, light, and sound. #MEHotelBarcelona #Barcelona #Gaudi #Boqueria #SagradaFamilia #GothicQuarter #TravelDocumentary #WorldClass
