From forest trails and a 260-metre canopy walk to the Nature Learning Classroom, gazebo, butterfly garden, children’s play area and aviary, Kandlakoya offers a space to experience nature, learn from it and simply slow down. Its trees provide shade, store carbon and support biodiversity, while the aviary adds another dimension of life to this urban forest. Created and nurtured by the Telangana Forest Department, Kandlakoya is more than a park. It is a living reminder of the role forests can play in making our cities greener, cooler and more liveable.
