THE SKY IS STILL OURS – OldGodsBurning | Epic Nordic Metal | Dark Cinematic Folk Metal

They took their names. They took their freedom. But they could never take the sky. Behind cold prison walls, a hundred men live beneath a narrow strip of sky. Among them is an old prisoner named Nils, who remembers a magnificent comet from his childhood. He has spent a lifetime waiting for its return. But time has taken his eyesight, and his strength is fading. Then, one extraordinary night, the comet returns. Even the youngest guard cannot look away. For a few precious moments, the prison gates open, and prisoners and guards stand together beneath the same burning sky. THE SKY IS STILL OURS is a powerful Dark Nordic Metal anthem about freedom, hope, human dignity and the things no prison, king or army can ever own. Thunderous war drums, crushing guitars, deep weathered vocals and a massive melodic chorus carry a story of darkness, light and the beauty of something that belongs to everyone. They can lock the gates below. But they can't tell the stars where to go.☄️ Some things can be taken from us. Others belong to everyone. What does freedom mean to you?
