Houston has a habit of paying for affordable housing after the storm hits. Francisco Sanchez Jr. believes the city can get ahead of it. In this conversation, Avenue welcomes Francisco Sanchez Jr. to its board of directors and talks about what resilience really means. Not just recovering after a disaster, but planning for the homes Houston families need before the next one comes. Francisco shares why he joined Avenue, what resilience looks like for Houston neighborhoods, and why affordable housing is something this city can build for on purpose instead of by emergency. ABOUT FRANCISCO SANCHEZ JR. Francisco Sanchez Jr. is the newest member of Avenue's board of directors. He has spent more than 20 years helping Houston and communities across the country get ready for disasters and bounce back from them.
