🔥 I Tried My NEW 7-LIGHT DREDGE in a Modern League… Here's What Happened

Hi everyone! MahfuzVanGogh here, also known as The Dredge Guy. After testing 8 Phoenixes in Dredge last week, I started wondering if eight might actually be overkill. So this time, I'm taking the idea one step further with 7-LIGHT DREDGE — featuring 4 Arclight Phoenix and 3 Darklight Phoenix — as I continue searching for the best way to make Darklight Phoenix work in Modern Dredge. The new build keeps some of the ideas from the original 8-Light list, including Forbidden Orchard and Flame Jab, both of which help us take advantage of the Phoenix package and bring our threats back more efficiently. I'm also testing Artist's Talent in the sideboard this time. With so many fast, interactive Tier decks in the current Modern metagame, and with Spell Snare everywhere, I'm not convinced Talent always deserves maindeck slots anymore (but that doesn't mean it has to disappear completely). So… is 7 Phoenixes the sweet spot?
