Royal Birmingham Conservatoire MIKE GIBBS PRIZE 2023

Student compositions and arrangements from the 2023 edition of the RBC MIKE GIBBS PRIZE performed by the RBC Jazz Orchestra at the Eastside Jazz Club on the 12th June, 2023. This year's winner was Ollie Canham for his piece "Near". Congratulation to all the shortlisted composers and arrangers, and thanks to this year's adjudicator Jason Yarde. Apologies for the poor syncing of the video and audio - it makes my conducting look particularly terrible!!
