50 Year Old Man Plays Gears of War on Xbox 360 - While Everybody's Asleep: Episode 11

It’s late. Everybody is asleep. And tonight, we’re heading back to the Xbox 360 for the original Gears of War! In Episode 11 of “Everybody's Asleep,” I’m playing Gears of War on original Xbox 360 hardware and a CRT TV. With Halloween here and Gears of War: E-Day bringing some attention back to the series, it seemed like the perfect time to revisit where it all began. Released in 2006, Gears of War became one of the defining games of the Xbox 360 generation, introducing players to Marcus Fenix, Delta Squad, the Locust Horde, and some of the most memorable third-person action of the era. No modern remaster tonight. No giant 4K display. Just an Xbox 360, a CRT, a controller, and a 50-year-old man trying to save humanity without waking up the house. Grab some coffee, keep the volume down, and join me for another late-night trip through gaming history. 🎮 Game: Gears of War🕹️ Console: Xbox 360📺 Played on a CRT TV🌙 Series: 50 Year Old Man Plays While Everybody Is Asleep🎬 Episode 11 If you enjoy retro gaming, original hardware, CRT gaming, classic consoles, and revisiting great games from gaming’s past, consider subscribing to The Retro Keep.
