Leatherman CHARGE⊕ TTI : What is the purpose of the pliers electrical crimper? Is it a joke?

Frankly, the pliers electrical crimper is not good, at least with ordinary electrical connectors and cables. Leatherman does not communicate on this subject (recommended diameters of cables and electrical connectors). I note that the latest versions of Charge (and Wave), PLUS versions, have a handles electrical crimper, as for the Surge. These work well. I also looked at the Swisstool pliers electrical crimper, the models that have it, it's even worse. I do not know ... specific cables and electrical connectors? Military? The fact of implanting a electrical crimper on the pliers is losing material and therefore resistance. It is interesting to note, on the site of Leatherman, that the pliers electrical crimper is not identified on the representation of the multi-tool (Charge+ TTI), only the handles electrical crimper is indicated!!!
