DESERT ZION | Kaela Marlay | Lost 1978 Jamaican Roots Reggae Album

Enter the sound of DESERT ZION by Kaela Marlay — a full-length roots reggae journey inspired by the deep, spiritual sound of 1978 Jamaica. Heavy basslines. One-drop drums. Skanking guitars. Hammond organ bubbles. Nyabinghi percussion. Melodica echoes. Soulful female vocals. And the timeless message of Jah, Zion, Africa, Babylon, freedom, roots, and spiritual resistance. Recorded in the spirit of a lost late-70s Jamaican roots album, Desert Zion carries the atmosphere of an old sound-system session — raw, warm, earthy, hypnotic, and deeply conscious.
