Disneyland Paris October 2023 Travel day!

Today I’m going to share my experience driving to Disneyland Paris (these are recent videos; we traveled down on 14th October 2023) We like to drive as we don’t mind the 6 hour journey, and we don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions as I’m an over packer 😆 We go via the Euro tunnel (which is alot quicker than the ferry) and once boarded, takes about 35mins til you arrive in Calais. It takes about 2.5 hours to get to Folkestone Euro tunnel terminal from our house in Suffolk. And once off the train is another 3 hour 20 min drive to Disneyland. There is a toll on the main A1 road, which is the road your on the majority of the drive, it is €24.30 each way and I’ve explained all about the tolls in the video We like to stay in an offsite, budget hotel for our travel day night so we can get up early after a nights sleep and check into our Disney hotel early to park and collect our magic passes and get to the park for the extra magic hour. We still like to travel into Disney village (just outside the Disney parks) on our night of arrival just so we can check out the shops and the other hotels. We stayed in B&B hotel in Torcy, which was a 3 stop train ride to the Disneyland Paris station, Chessy. The hotel was opposite the train station so was easy to find and walk to. This was our first time using the RER Train and it was all very straightforward and easy to navigate. A lot less crazy than the shuttle buses from some of the partner hotels that’s for sure! We spent the evening in Disney village and had dinner and cocktails in the skyline bar.
