Blaze in Eastbourne Town Centre | Fire Above NME Nightclub – 6 Engines at Scene

A major blaze has broken out in Eastbourne town centre this evening (31st March 2025), with flames seen coming from the roof space above the NME Nightclub on Terminus Road. East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) confirmed that six fire engines, including an aerial ladder platform (ALP), are on scene. The fire is being tackled with the support of Sussex Police, who have closed Terminus Road from Bolton Road to allow emergency crews to work safely. This fire incident is still ongoing.
