Pokémon Card Opening! Charizard ex, Eevee ex & Completing a Set! | ITC Collectibles Rip Session #1

Welcome to Episode 1 of *In The Crease Collectibles* — a new collectibles series built around the thrill of the rip, the love of collecting, incredible artwork, and the stories behind the things we collect. In our first episode, we're opening Pokémon TCG packs from multiple sets, hunting for standout cards, and chasing the final three cards needed to complete the **First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1**. Along the way, we pull cards including **Charizard ex, Eevee ex, and Flareon ex**, explore some beautiful Pokémon card artwork, and talk about what makes collecting more than just chasing market value. Whether you're a longtime Pokémon TCG collector, a fan of modern Pokémon cards, someone hunting for rare pulls, or simply getting back into the hobby, there's plenty to enjoy in this opening. 🎴 WHAT WE'RE OPENING This episode features a mix of Pokémon card packs and sets, including: *First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1* — hunting for Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup to complete the nine-card collection. *Prismatic Evolutions* — opening packs in search of standout Eevee evolution cards and other desirable pulls. *Destined Rivals* — exploring a set known for its sought-after Pokémon and Trainer cards. *Japanese Pokémon cards* — opening Japanese packs and discussing the artwork, presentation, and appeal of collecting cards from Japan. *Mega Evolution and Fantasmal Flames* — adding more variety to the opening and seeing what the packs have in store. ⭐ CARDS, PULLS & COLLECTING HIGHLIGHTS Some of the cards and moments featured in this episode include: *Charizard ex* — a standout pull from the Japanese Pokémon packs. *Eevee ex* — including a double-gold-star card from Prismatic Evolutions. *Flareon ex* — another memorable pull from Prismatic Evolutions. *Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup* — the three cards needed to complete the First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1. Additional Pokémon cards, including Leafeon, Vaporeon, Sandy Shocks ex, Gengar, Tyranitar, Misty's Gyarados, and Team Rocket's Raticate. Beyond the pulls themselves, we're looking at card artwork, rarity indicators, collecting favorites, and the excitement of finding a card that belongs in your collection. We also talk about why certain sets attract so much attention from collectors and why the artwork can be just as exciting as the card's market value. 🃏 COLLECTING IS MORE THAN THE VALUE OF A CARD This channel isn't just about opening packs and chasing expensive hits. It's about collecting because you genuinely love the hobby. I'm a longtime collector with more than 30 years of collecting experience across comics and other collectibles, and I'm getting deeper into Pokémon cards. I appreciate the artists behind the cards, the nostalgia, the hunt for specific characters, and the satisfaction of completing a set. You'll also see an emphasis on handling cards carefully, sleeving and protecting worthwhile pulls, being honest about the hobby, and remembering that Pokémon is a hobby enjoyed by kids and adults alike. When you end up with duplicates, sometimes the best thing you can do is pass a few along and make another collector's day. 📦 MORE THAN POKÉMON CARDS In The Crease Collectibles will explore the wider world of collecting, too. Future episodes will include sports cards and sports memorabilia, comic books, Hot Wheels, toys, Garbage Pail Kids, and other collectibles from my personal collections. We'll also get into different corners of the hobby, including hockey, baseball, football, UFC, women's sports, and Olympic memorabilia. The goal is to share the things we collect, discover new favorites, appreciate the artwork and history, and have fun along the way. If you're into Pokémon TCG openings, modern Pokémon sets, illustration cards, collecting rare cards, sports cards, comics, or collectibles of all kinds, you're in the right place. *Subscribe to In The Crease Collectibles* and follow along as we open more packs, chase new cards, work through the collection, and explore the hobby one episode at a time. 💬 *Let me know in the comments:* What's your favorite Pokémon set right now, which card are you chasing, and what other collectibles would you like to see featured on the channel?
