Today, we’re making a beautiful homemade pumpkin pie in our cozy traditional village kitchen! 🎃🍂 This rustic pumpkin pie is made with soft homemade dough, sweet diced pumpkin, butter, sesame seeds, and black seeds. We create a beautiful woven lattice pattern on top, brush it with butter, sprinkle it with seeds, and bake it over a wood fire until golden and delicious. The warm atmosphere of our countryside kitchen, the smell of freshly baked dough, and the natural flavors of pumpkin make this recipe perfect for autumn. ❤️ 🌿 Ingredients for the Dough: 1 kg wheat flour 1 tablespoon yeast 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 100 g butter Water as needed Sesame seeds as needed Black seeds (Nigella seeds) as needed 🎃 For the Pumpkin Filling: Diced pumpkin, as needed Butter for brushing Sesame seeds and black seeds for topping 🥣 Instructions: 1. Mix the flour, yeast, salt, milk, butter, and enough water to make a soft dough. 2. Knead the dough well and let it rest until it rises. 3. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes and cook until tender. 4. Roll out the dough and spread it across a baking tray. 5. Add the cooked pumpkin over the dough. 6. Cut extra dough into strips and arrange them in a beautiful woven lattice pattern over the filling. 7. Brush the top with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and black seeds. 8. Bake over a wood fire until the dough is fully cooked and golden. Serve this delicious homemade pumpkin pie warm and enjoy the comforting flavors of traditional countryside cooking!
