Ruins On The Highway

Ruins On The Highway - Hard Rock / Arena Rock / Heavy Metal Track Dust on the windshield, sky turning grey Billboards are fading along the way Empty towns under silent skies Dreams we lost before our eyes Ruins on the highway, mile after mile Ash in the wind where there once was a smile We drove through the warnings, we turned away Now only the echoes remain on the way Gas stations hollow, rivers run dry Smoke in the distance under a broken sky The road keeps going, but nothing remains Just rusted signs and forgotten names Ruins on the highway, cold and wide The world we knew buried behind We chased tomorrow, but lost the way Among the ruins on the highway. #hardrock , #heavymetal , #arenarock .
