Fast Countryside Ride POV | Yamaha XJ6-N Raw Exhaust Sound (4K)

A more upbeat ride on a Yamaha XJ6-N out in the countryside of London with curvy roads, great views, and my first attempt at RAW audio using the DJI Mic Mini 2! Intro: Mic Placement Test - Which Sounds Better? (00:00) Mic Position 1: Under the seat (00:08) Noticeably louder and captures more raw engine tone, but there's some distortion in places, possibly interference from the Bluetooth connection. This might clean up once I switch to the receiver setup - aiming to do this with the GoPro Media Mod in the next video. Mic Position 2: Inner jacket pocket (03:46) Muffled, quieter, and still has some distortion. It feels less harsh overall, but doesn't give the raw audio feeling I'm after. Overall, the raw audio can definitely be improved. In the next video I'll cover the mic with a cloth under the seat to test whether this gives the right balance. I'm hoping the receiver connection fixes the distortions too!
