Is Modern Israel Fulfilling Bible Prophecy? Sam Shamoun Answers

What does the Bible actually say about the Jewish people, the Promised Land, and Jerusalem? In this thought-provoking conversation, Sam Shamoun responds to a Christian caller wrestling with one of the most sensitive and controversial questions in biblical prophecy: Does Israel’s possession of Jerusalem point to the return of Jesus Christ? Sam examines the biblical promises concerning the land, the Jewish people, Jerusalem, and the prophetic passages that many Christians connect to the modern State of Israel. He also addresses the ongoing struggle over the land and challenges Christians to think carefully about the difference between loving and supporting Jewish people and simply assuming that every modern political event must be a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Where does the biblical promise of the land fit into the bigger story of Scripture? What do the prophets actually say? And how should Christians approach Israel, the Jewish people, Jerusalem, and biblical prophecy without compromising truth? This is a sensitive subject, but it is one worth examining through Scripture rather than assumptions.
